Joe Jonas Reveals He Sent Timothée Chalamet a Selfie Last December — and Still Hasn't Gotten a Response

The singer said he'll update fans next December about the unread texts
Timothée Chalamet might've left Joe Jonas on read.
On Sunday, Dec. 1, the "Waffle House" singer shared a TikTok video about sending a selfie to the Wonkaactor almost a year ago.
"Last December I sent Timothee Chalamet a text from my friends phone anticipating a response," Jonas, 35, wrote on the screenshot of the text message, which featured a selfie of him.
The next slide of his TikTok post featured another selfie. "This December he still hasn't texted back. Hope this helps!" he added.
The song "Thoughts of You" by Ole 60 played in the background of the post, which he captioned, "check back with you guys next December for an update."

Fans commented on Jonas' TikTok, comforting him following the year-long radio silence. "he's just thinking of a good response, it'll come soon enough," one fan wrote.
"I can change my name to [Timothée] and reply you asap 💗," another joked.
"I totally understand how you feel joe I am also waiting on a response from the timothee chalamet," said a third viewer.

For what it's worth, Chalamet, 28, has had a pretty busy 2024. In the spring, the actor filmed A Complete Unknown, the Bob Dylan biopic where he stars as the iconic singer-songwriter.
In the fall, Chalamet also spent time filming Marty Supreme in New York City with Gwyneth Paltrow.

In between filmmaking and promoting Dune 2along with Wonkaduring awards season earlier this year, the actor managed to find some time to relax. In August, Chalamet traveled to the Bahamas to celebrate Kylie Jenner's birthday, a source told PEOPLE at the time.
Most recently, the Duneactor crashed a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest in Washington Square Park on Oct. 27. Despite his high chances of winning, another doppelgänger came out victorious.
Jonas, meanwhile, is gearing up to release his upcoming solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love. The project has been preceded by the singles "Work It Out" and "What This Could Be," while the full body of work's release date is TBD.
