"I wasn't the only one with a 4½-year-old there!" Turner-Smith joked
Jodie Turner-Smith was excited to show her daughter Wicked — even though she didn't entirely understand the plot.
On Tuesday, Nov. 26, The Agency actress, 38, appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and spoke about how she'd recently taken her 4½-year-old daughter Juno to go see Wicked on Broadway.
"And you took her to go see Wicked? On Broadway, not the movie," Fallon asked.
"I did. Listen, I know that she's a bit young, but I just kind of felt like Wicked is now about to be in the zeitgeist in a whole other way now that Cynthia Erivo undoubtedly has slayed this performance," Turner-Smith explained. "And I was just like, 'I just need her to take her the play in before the movie.' "
"She had a lot of questions," she jokingly added.

Fallon asked if Juno had ever watched the original movie, The Wizard of Oz, before, to which Turner-Smith said that she has not.
"She must've been like, 'What is going on?' Oh my god," Fallon laughed. "She didn't even see The Wizard of Oz?"
"She's never seen Wizard of Oz. But I just love Wicked so much, and it's my favorite musical," Turner-Smith continued. "And I just love it. I was eager. I was keen. I wasn't the only one with a 4½-year-old in there."
Turner-Smith shares her daughter Juno with ex Joshua Jackson.
In June, Turner-Smith appeared on an episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna and opened up about how becoming a mother to her daughter has affected her self-confidence.
Asked what becoming a mom has done for her, Turner-Smith was quick to share that motherhood is one of her "favorite things."
"Honestly, it's my favorite thing about myself is that I'm that girl's mother. I'm just so grateful that she chose me to be her mom; that I got to have that gift in life," Turner-Smith said. "It is my favorite thing. I mean, I just, it is an honor."
"I feel like it was our birthright to mother — whether we bring our children or not, I think it's is a woman's birthright. We hold space for those around us. It has shifted everything about me. It has only enriched me. It has shown me, No. 1, how powerful I am. Like, whoa! It's like, Supreme Being — wow!"
