JEREMY Clarkson has welcomed Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White to his pub weeks after being told he was facing death in a major health scare.

The TV personality could be seen grinning ear to ear in the snap he took with Marco at the Farmer’s Dog.

Jeremy posted on his Oxfordshire pub’s Instagram page, saying: “Proper food royalty paying a visit to Hops&Chops and our Yorkshire wedding cake.”

Followers flooded the pair with compliments, with one commenting that Jeremy looks restored to health.

Another wrote: “A legend with an legend. Amazing.”

A third exclaimed: “Wow two of my favourite people together !! Absolute legends!!!!!”

It appears Jeremy is on the mend after his recent heart surgery.

The former Top Gear host had to be rushed to hospital after he started experiencing clammy hands and a tightness in his chest he associated with heart attacks.

Once there, doctors discovered one of his arteries was completely blocked and another was “heading that way”.

He had to have a stent inserted into the blocked artery to keep it open and restore blood flow to the heart.

Jeremy has since complained about the lifestyle changes doctors are asking him to make in his column for the Sun, groaning: “Literally, I am not allowed to have fun any more. I must live in a Liberal Democrat, holier-than-thou fog of weeds, seeds and yoga. This is terrifying.

“And if I go to a party, I must stand in a corner, nursing some refreshing elderflower juice, before going home at about 9.30. That's terrifying too.”

Medical professionals have also asked him to slow down on the work front, but it appears Jeremy is still going full steam ahead with running the Farmer’s Dog pub at the moment.
