Jennifer Lopez is celebrating another year around the sun for mom Guadalupe Rodríguez.
On Thursday, Dec. 12, the singer and actress dedicated a sweet birthday tribute to her mom, whom she famously calls "the Lupinator," on Instagram.
Lopez shared a carousel of photos in her post, including a close-up selfie, a candid shot of her mom in hair rollers and a throwback photo of the mother-daughter duo all dressed up.
"Happy birthday mommy!! I love you so very much!! Thank you for being there for me always…🤍🤍 #TheLupinator," Lopez, 55, wrote in the caption of Rodríguez, 79, who shares the star with David Lopez. (The pair split in 1999 after 33 years of marriage.)
The "Let's Get Loud" singer reshared the post on her Instagram Stories and paired it with Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline." Under the post, she wrote "Happy Birthday Mommy!" and included white heart emojis.
In 2021, her mom joined her onstage at the Vax Live concert to sing "Sweet Caroline."

At the 2020 Billboard Women in Music event, Lopez opened up about how her mom played a crucial role in helping develop her passion for performing while accepting the Icon Award.
"Music has always, always been my passion. When I was little, music took the mundane and elevated it into a celebration. It's been my obsession ever since," she said. "And along with dance, it was my first love."
The "Can't Get Enough" singer further explained that her mom was the first to teach her dance moves and they would "sing oldies" or hit songs of the time together.
"Those were my first performances, and it's what inspired me to do what I've had the privilege to do for all of you all these years," the Atlas actress added.
Lopez also told Rolling Stone in 2022 Rodríguez was both a "a fun mom" and tough enough to prepare her for the ups and downs of a career in the music industry.
"My mom was also the mom who got me into musicals and introduced me to all kinds of music. I am an entertainer because of my mom," she told the outlet. "But I'm also able to survive the things I've survived in this business because my mom was tough. I don't think she could realize what she was preparing me for, but she did."
