Jennifer Lopez and my mom are sadly not related, but they are cheetah sisters.
The Hustlers actress stepped out earlier this week in a fuzzy topper featuring the pattern that I, for one, could spot from a mile away. She wore a black and brown leopard coat that was practically the same one my mom used to wear any time she left the house during frosty weather, and it made me want to quickly purchase one of the potential coats that are sitting in my virtual shopping cart.
The bold pattern is a neutral, according to my mother, who wore her coat until she couldn't any longer — at least a decade — and who got compliments on it for most of that time. It's also having a breakout year with Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, and Brittany Mahomes wearing it.

Lopez also had on a black Intimissimi turtleneck — a brand she's a global ambassador for and one she's worn before — and a pair of light blue jeans with a criss-cross waistband, something Taylor Swift's flashed a few times.

I've also been wearing cheetah jeans non-stop, so I'm thinking I may have to get a coat for myself, too. This one looks a little less bulky than J.Lo's, so it would probably be better for west coast weather. This Abercrombie version looks warmer, so it might be better suited for my mom who's still stuck in cold temps. It also looks more like Rihanna's, who showcased that a statement coat even does wonders for a sweatsuit.

I've been bored with my denim lately, but I've never tried switching up the waistband.
