She shared her anti-aging tips on Reddit's 45 Plus Skincare forum, responding to a user asking for the "best treatment for wrinkles."

FACE FIXER

The midlife beauty enthusiast said her face should "look bad" because she's been having treatment for ovarian cancer and had a "radical hysterectomy."

However, her skincare routine "WORKS" to keep her 57-year-old skin in good condition.

"Twice a day I use one scoop of collagen powder in something (liquid or yogurt)," she said, writing under the handle Peachsqueeze66.

"MORNING, I wash my face with a gentle soap (sometimes bar soap, sometimes liquid).

"After I pat it dry I use Skinceuticals CE Ferulic (6 drops).

"I wait while I'm brushing my teeth and then use EltaMD UV Daily Face Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, SPF 40 Facial Sunscreen.

"I don't use eye cream daily, but I use Cetaphil Deep Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum (it is actually a cream)."

She said carefully removing her makeup to avoid damaging her eyelashes is the first step in her evening skincare routine.

This is followed by washing her face using a "gentle soap."

"Then after I pat dry, I use Organic Rosehip Seed Oil (about 3 drops) AND The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% Antioxidant (1-2 drops)," she said.

"I mix these together and extend where I smooth this to my neck and my décolleté.

"Both of these are oily and highly moisturizing. Good for nighttime."

Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% is $10.40 and 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil costs $10.90 on The Ordinary's website.

Customers have highly rated both products for their ability to target dullness and the signs of aging.

The Redditor revealed that she uses a retinoid three times weekly before applying the oils.

She also mists her face with DERMA-E Hydrating Face Mist with Hyaluronic Acid, which can also be used as a setting spray.

"My face looks really good," she said.

"My crow’s feet have dissipated in the last year. I get stopped regularly and asked what I do."

The Redditor revealed she's also recently started using a Dr. Pen M8 micropen at home to stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of scars.

"I have used it once at home, but have had this done in a clinical setting in the past, but not for many years," she said. "I believe in this."

"It makes the skin more readily absorb serums," she added.

"I follow this up with my Skinceuticals CE. It works best when you do it once a month or so."

FRESH PAIR OF EYES

Many people upvoted the post and thanked her for sharing the skincare routine.

According to Medical News Today, there are a variety of treatments available for targeting small wrinkles around the eyes.

Topical creams containing vitamin A such as retinol can be "highly effective" for reducing the appearance of crow's feet.

Alternatively, Botox, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing can transform aging skin.

Experts recommend wearing SPF 30 or above daily, routinely moisturizing, and not smoking to keep skin youthful.
