"I tend to play the classic holiday songs in the car — not that that's not a classic," Duff, who released 'Santa Claus Lane' in 2002, tells PEOPLE
It might be time for Hilary Duff to take another walk down Santa Claus lane.
The singer and actress, 37, has previously spoken about how her daughter Banks, 6, is a big fan of her music, especially the 2015 song "Sparks." With the holiday season now in full effect, she has a perfect opportunity to share her 2002 Christmas album, Santa Claus Lane, with her four kids — which she hasn't done yet.
"You know what, I need to," Duff tells PEOPLE. The "With Love" musician shares Banks as well as daughters Mae, 3, and Townes, born in May, with husband Matthew Koma, while she's also mom to son Luca, 12.
"Maybe this is the year," she adds. "Luca will have none of that, but Banks would definitely love it. I tend to play the classic holiday songs in the car — not that that's not a classic."
Many fans may not realize Santa Claus Lane is technically the former child star's debut album, as the festive project was released before 2003's blockbuster Metamorphosis album, which features the hits "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean."
Comprised of a mix of both covers and original holiday songs, Santa Claus Lane featured collaborations with Christina Milian, Romeo Miller and Duff's sister, Haylie. The title track was featured in Disney's The Santa Clause 2.
Since its release, Santa Claus Lane has been certified gold by the RIAA for over 500,000 copies sold in the United States.
Duff's most recent album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., was released in 2015.

Recently, Duff's been utilizing Meta AI to prepare for Christmas. "I've used it for coming up with all of my gifting lists for the holidays, plus ideas," she said. "So obviously, I'm shopping for a toddler, a 3-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 12-year-old and then multiple other ages of people."
She added, "I had to bring an appetizer somewhere the other day, and I was like, 'Give me three, off-the-beaten-path appetizers, so I can wow people.'"
