Hilarie Burton and Jeffery Dean MorganHilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are revisiting their high school days.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, the One Tree Hill alum, 42, shared a sweet selfie with her actor husband, 58, while they chaperoned their 14-year-old son Augustus "Gus" and his classmates at a homecoming dance. While standing in a crowded gym, Dean Morgan kisses Burton on the cheek as she smiles with her arm wrapped around him.
"I had the hottest Homecoming Date at the dance tonight. 🕺💖😍," the proud mom wrote in her caption. "Thanks for helping your nerdy wife chaperone @jeffreydeanmorgan . You're a catch!"

The Grey's Anatomy alum commented on the post, sharing his love for his wife right back. "You CAN go back again! love you so much," he wrote. "Very proud of what you did for those kids… gave them one hell of a homecoming weekend! we ALL lucky to have a little HBM [Hilarie Burton Morgan] in our lives."
Burton and Dean Morgan are also parents to daughter George, 6.
The actress recently chatted with PEOPLE about her perimenopause journey, where she stressed the importance of being open with her kids about the ways our bodies change as we age.

Hilarie Burton Morgan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Family"I talked to my teenage son about how I'm going through hormone changes while he's going through hormone changes," Burton told PEOPLE in September. "Being a mother, it is really important. We get to raise a whole new generation of kids that are talking about it from the jump. It's not some secret that they learn decades into their life."
Gus is in high school now, and Burton said the puberty conversation came up when he was "freaking out about something."
"I was like, 'My guy, it's not real. This is your body having a chemical reaction that is making it feel bigger than it is the same way mom sometimes freaks out because my body's having a chemical reaction,' " she recalled telling her son. "And so being able to have those conversations with your kids is really helpful."
