Guests at Gwyneth Paltrow's Thanksgiving may not be getting homemade cranberry sauce.

During her Thursday, Nov. 21, appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Oscar winner shared some hot takes on the holiday season while promoting her Goop holiday gift guide.

Perhaps Paltrow's most polarizing opinion is that canned cranberry sauce is better than being made fresh for Thanksgiving. "This is unpopular but I love the can, that jelly thing," she said while sitting in an infrared sauna with Fallon, 50.

"It comes out like a big hunk of OceanSpray," Paltrow, 52, continued of the gelatinous side dish. "I love it."

Paltrow also said that it wasn't "okay to put Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving," while Fallon said that putting up the decorations early "make you happy," to which the audience cheered.

When it comes to having a fake or real Christmas tree, the Iron Man alum weighed in on both options. "Well, there are pros and cons to both," she began. "Apparently it's better for the environment to actually have a fake Christmas tree and reuse it."

"But I just do love a real Christmas tree. So I can be convinced to go either way," she added.

Fallon meanwhile, said he grew up with a fake Christmas tree that they kept in the basement. "So it got kind of got a little mildewy," he added. "So every time I smell that, I think of the holidays."

Paltrow also settled the perrennial debate of whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie. In response to the controversial question, she enthusiastically said "Yippee-ki‐yay!"
