The Great British Baking Show contestant Nelly is opening up about her personal life and beautifully bringing it into her baking.

In a new episode of the baking competition show, each contestant was asked to make fully edible puppet theaters out of biscuits. Throughout her baking process, Nelly revealed that her theater filled with green trees and hanging stars was inspired by her "painful" experience with five pregnancy losses.

"These stars represent my five unborn children," she says while making five star-shaped cookies. "This was twins," she adds, pointing to two of them. "And they belong there."

"Even if you don't birth them, you carry them in you, all your life, you've got the genes in, so I can't miss them on my show, can I?" Nelly says, before highlighting her green frosted tree-shaped cookies and explaining their metaphorical significance.

"You're going in your life through so many obstacles and the forest represents all these horrible obstacles which we have to do in our life," she shares. "And it's dark and it's painful, but in every tunnel, in every forest, is a light. Maybe small, teeny weeny, but it will get there. And then there's going to be a big one."

"So they're going to hang above," she adds, referring to the star cookies. She then looks up and says, "Just like they are," talking about her unborn children.
