The golf pro, 25, tied the knot with his girlfriend of five years, Kim Lloyd, 26, in a "Miami chic" wedding at the W South Beach hotel in Florida on Saturday, Dec. 14.

"We wanted to create a weekend of celebration with all of our closest friends and family," the bride and groom exclusively tell PEOPLE. "We both value those relationships so much and feel honored to be able to share these memories with the people we love."

There were about 130 guests at the ceremony, most of whom traveled in for the big day. While the location was close to home for the couple, it was more of "a fun travel destination" for everyone else.

"I am most looking forward to seeing all of the people I love all in one room," Lloyd told PEOPLE ahead of the bride and groom's big day.

In a "precious" moment, the couple's grandmothers walked down the aisle together as flower girls, gently dropping petals with every step. Surrounding them was tropical greenery and vibrant florals.

Lloyd then made her way down to Coldplay's "Yellow," which was played on a ukulele. She wore a "classic and clean" dress by Danielle Frankel and shoes with lace detailing by Jimmy Choo. Her makeup was done by Shelby Bell and her hair was styled by The Clyque.

"I knew exactly what I wanted when shopping and found this stunning gown," Lloyd says. "The train is what sold me! The veil was picked out by my mom, who loves a bit of lace."

Wolff tells PEOPLE that seeing Lloyd in her dress was what he was most looking forward to on their wedding day. For his part, he dressed in classic black Mike Bosso suit, which was accessorized with a white orchid boutonniere. The couple's wedding rings were designed by Sue Gragg.

The two, who met at Oklahoma State University in 2019, privately exchanged handwritten vows before the ceremony. They shared heartfelt traditional vows during the ceremony, which was officiated by Wolff's father figure and childhood family friend, David Dicker. They also incorporated the Jewish tradition of breaking glass.

Umbrellas were needed at the start of the outdoor ceremony but just as the bride and groom were saying their "I dos," the clouds cleared. The ceremony concluded with the guitar player strumming a rendition of The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun."

Lloyd's sister Meghan and Wolff's brother Eli served as the maid of honor and best man, respectively. The wedding was planned by Jess Duncan of La Valse Events.

"Marriage to Kim means a lifetime of happiness and being able to share life with the one you love most and start a family," Wolff says.

At the reception, the band Magic City from Élan Artists kicked off the party, while the newlyweds' first dance was to "One Man Band" by Old Dominion.

"This has been 'our song' pretty much since it came out in 2019, the year we met and started dating," Lloyd says. "We were doing a lot of long distance, traveling and living out of hotel rooms, so this song has always been special to us."

When they weren't dancing, guests dined on Caesar salad, prime New York steak and a local red snapper before enjoying slices of red velvet and rose champagne cake.

The night before the wedding, the couple held a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party and immediate family at Mr. Chow. Lloyd stunned in a strapless bridal midi dress from Senstudio, which she purchased along with her wedding dress from Brides by Lola Dré in Jupiter, Fla.

Following the dinner, the couple hosted a welcome party for all of their guests.

"It was a complete surprise. We travel to Philadelphia every year for Christmas and were getting ready to head into the city for a family dinner downtown," Lloyd recalls. "Matt managed to convince me to get a glass of champagne at the W Hotel in Center City before meeting up with my family."

She continues: "When we got there, we were presented with two glasses of champagne and started heading up the elevator until we got to a stunning balcony overlooking the city. He asked me to marry him there in 9-degree weather on the windy rooftop, and I was ecstatic."

After soaking up the moment, they made their way to the restaurant. "Matt had organized a private room filled with both sides of my family as well as his, who flew in from California and Texas to attend," Lloyd says.

As the newlyweds look toward their next chapter, they plan to "enjoy marriage, take a honeymoon, travel and continue to build an amazing life together" with their "little family," which includes their Great Pyrenees, Zeus.
