Jones, now on the practice squad for the Vikings, gifted the Giants offensive line a bottle of high end Clase Azul tequila for supporting him during his tenure in New York
Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is showing some love for his old teammates at Christmastime.
The former quarterback, 27, reportedly gifted the current Giants offensive linemen with a limited edition bottle of Clase Azul tequila, ESPN's Jordan Raanan said on Friday, Dec. 20, to thank his former teammates for their support and hard work this past season.
"Daniel Jones with a class move," Raanan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "He may not be the Giants QB anymore but … he sent all the offensive linemen who were on the roster with him a limited edition bottle of Clase Azul."
Although it wasn't reported which specific bottle of the high-end tequila brand Jones purchased for the linemen, limited edition bottles of Clase Azul range in price anywhere from $119 to as much as $19,000.

Jones, who was drafted by the Giants in 2019, was released last month despite the team putting him on a $160 million contract last year, according to ESPN.
The 27-year-old signed with the Minnesota Vikings practice squad as a free agent on Nov. 27. The outlet reported that his contract spans for the remainder of the season and is worth $375,000 — although as a free agent, he could still sign with another team if a starting quarterback position opens up elsewhere.
The quarterback's former teammates have previously shown their support for Jones, defending him after criticism about the Giants' poor performance earlier this season. Former Giants running back Saquon Barkley (now with the Philadelphia Eagles) went viral on social media in October after he stood up to a fan who booed Jones after he sustained a neck injury during a game against the Miami Dolphins.
"Stop reaching and trying to make it a me vs fans thing," Barkley wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time, replying to a video of him calling out a fan from the sidelines. "I'm not gonna just sit there and not say anything while you talk crazy to 8 [Jones] after he just got hurt… buddy knew he was in the wrong."

Before signing with the Vikings, Jones started 10 games this season for the Giants, going 2-8 in what many critics called an unfortunate end to his stint in New York.
However, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell expressed his excitement at a press conference after it was announced that Jones was signing a one-season contract and would be joining the practice squad in Minnesota.
"I've always been a fan [of Jones]," O'Connell said at the time, per ESPN. "Love, really liked the person, the human being, the makeup, and then the player, Daniel Jones. I think there's so much out in front of him that are going to be really good things that we get to personally be a part of, and I can't wait to work with him."
