After Emma, 46, asked for fans of Bruce, who turned 70 on Wednesday, March 19, to send him well wishes as she marked her husband's birthday, she shared a video showing the dozens of messages her Instagram followers sent via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 20.
"Bruce had a great day. YOU made it very special ✨," Emma wrote in a caption to the video; some of the messages featured in Emma's post included fans who wrote, "Happy birthday Bruce! Yippi-ki-yay m---------- will always belong to you," and, "You're the most amazing actor and we love you!!!! Your smile lights up the world," among others.
"Thanks Emma for still letting us fans be a part of his life," one Instagram user wrote. "You have a beautiful family."

The family shared that his condition had progressed into frontotemporal dementia in early 2023, and Bruce has largely stayed out of the spotlight since his diagnosis. Emma, who met Bruce in 2007 and married him in 2009, has taken on a caregiver role for her husband and semi-frequently shares updates with his fans through Instagram.

The pair share two daughters together: Mabel Ray, born in April 2012, and Evelyn Penn, born in May 2014. Emma is also a stepmom to Bruce's adult daughters Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore.

Each of Bruce's three oldest daughters, as well as his ex-wife Moore, 62, also took to Instagram to wish the Die Hard icon well on his 70th birthday. "Happy 70th to my favorite guy. I love my family 🎈🎈," Tallulah, 31, wrote alongside one set of photos she uploaded, which shows her posing with Bruce and Moore.
