Eminem to Investigate The Death of Slim Shady on New Album

The real Slim Shady can't stand up right now. Why? 'Cause he's dead! Eminem announced his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), with a true-crime clip investigating the murder of his alter ego. "Through his complex and oft-criticized tongue-twisting rhymes, the blond antihero known as Slim Shady has had no shortage of of enemies," our host says. "The same rude lyrics and controversial antics may have ultimately led to his demise." There's even a cameo from 50 Cent, noting that Slim's "not a friend, he's a psychopath." Em dropped the news just hours after repping his Detroit Lions at the NFL Draft, held in his home city. Who knew the man was holding it together amid a murder investigation?

The Death of Slim Shady is Eminem's 12th studio album and first since 2020's Music to Be Murdered By.
