Grab your passport, Emily in Paris has just been renewed for a fifth season. Emily (Lily Collins) is spending more time in Rome with her new man, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini)—presumably, she's going to be just as fluent in Italian as she is in French (none). Rest assured creator Darren Star promises she'll be back in France in a statement that also feels like a threat. "Emily's going to have a presence in Rome," tells Star to Tudum. "It doesn't mean she's not going to be in Paris, but she's going to have a presence in Rome." When we left Emily at the end of season four, she left her phone behind (!!!) to continue her new romance with Marcello, while Gabriel, her ex, vows to get her back. "Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance," explains Collins in an interview with Good Morning America. "We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time." Does this mean she's finally going to take a much needed social media break? #AnythingIsPossible
