Dolphins' Anthony Walker Jr. Gifts Teammates Replicas of Their High School Football Jerseys: 'This Is Vintage!'

Anthony Walker Jr.Miami Dolphins linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. is playing Secret Santa!
In a sweet surprise that brought out endless smiles and cheers from the team, Walker Jr. gave the gift of nostalgia this year and had replicas made of all of his teammates' high school football jerseys.
In a video posted by Walker Jr., 29, and the Miami Dolphins on Instagram, various team members are seen thanking him for the thoughtful gift. "Everyone remembers their high school days 🫶 @awalk had a special surprise for his teammates this morning!," the video's caption read.
"I wanted to give back to my guys, the team. I wanted to do something different for Christmas this year," Walker Jr. can be heard saying in the video. "I know everybody remembers their high school days when we first started getting into this and really taking it seriously. So yeah, I just wanted to give all the guys their high school jerseys."

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa opened his jersey from his high school tenure with the Saint Louis Crusaders and promptly put it on. Calais Campbell and Malik Washington also had warm reactions to receiving their jerseys, with Washington proclaiming, "This is vintage!"
If Walker Jr. had gifted himself a jersey, it would be from his high school, Monsignor Edward Pace in Miami. From there, the linebacker went on to play for Northwestern, outside Chicago, and earned All-American honors multiple times.

Miami DolphinsHe was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 and played there for four seasons before moving on to the Cleveland Browns, and then the Dolphins, where he signed this past March. Walker Jr. has recorded 30 solo tackles and one sack this season with Miami, where the team has a 6-8 rec.
The Dolphins, who are second in the AFC East, next face the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 22.
