Demi Lovato Goes from Brunette to Honey Blonde for the Summer: See Her New Look

The singer jumped on the blonde bandwagon a few weeks after revealing a caramel balayage on July 1

Demi Lovato is blonde for the summer. 

The "Confident" singer (who uses she/they pronouns) is known to be a hair chameleon, so it's no surprise that she casually dropped a new look for her 155 million Instagram followers.

On July 15, the Camp Rock alum, 31, posted a photo dump to on her feed featuring snapshots of her freshly dyed look.

Lovato debuted her new honey blonde hair with two selfies.

One photo shows just the ends of her bob dip-dyed a golden shade, which is the hairstyle Lovato had before going fully blonde. In a selfie revealing the new look, she rocked sunglasses, a black top and glossy lip.

Lovato has also been having fun with her summer style.

She shared one mirror selfie wearing a black two-piece swimsuit, consisting of a bandeau top and high-waisted bottoms, and a snapshot of her two-toned strawberry red French manicure — along with her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring from her fiancé Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, who proposed to the Grammy-nominated singer in December.

Lovato, who recently partnered with haircare brand OGX, has rocked a number of different hairstyles in the past few months.

On July 1, she tapped hairdresser Rena Calhoun to create a dimensional caramel balayage look with a side-swept bang framing her face.

It was completely different length-wise from her daring 2024 Met Gala hair, which was worn in a waist-length, sleek and straight style that cascaded down the back of her silver Prabal Gurung gown. 

Lovato has also spent some time this summer at the tattoo parlor.

In May, she revealed to her fans that she had gotten a brand-new tattoo dedicated to her mom, Dianna De La Garza. In a TikTok video, Lovato explained that she decided to get the phrase "I love you more" written in her mom's handwriting inked on her arm.

She worked with tattoo artist Avia Logothetis on the new addition. "We had such a great time today. Not only was she super sweet, but she's super talented," she said.
