DANCING On Ice professional Vanessa Bauer has hinted she could quit the reality TV series.
It came after the skater – who previously won the nail-biting ITV show with Jake Quickenden, 36 – let slip her second career in an exclusive chat with The Sun.

Vanessa, who was paired with Made In Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, 28, in 2024, told us: “My acting pursuit is going really well.
“I’m actually working on a movie right now as well, so I’m super excited for this to come out next year.
“I love Dancing On Ice and I would love to continue doing it for as long as I can but at the same time, other opportunities are piling up and I’m super grateful for everything coming my way right now.”
HARD GRAFT
it came after The Sun revealed the stunning star had spent eight years training for her acting roles.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, ahead of a 60km trek in Slovenia in memory of her late dad for the charity Grief Encounter, Vanessa remained coy on whether she will or won’t in the next series of Dancing On Ice in 2026.
The star is paired with Love Island alumni Chris Taylor for January’s 2025 season.
She said: “There are so many things coming up. So let’s see.
“You will actually see me act soon enough as well, which I’m very excited about.
“I’ve been doing acting training for as long as I could think, and everything is now coming together.
“So yeah, there’s a few projects in the works that have nothing to do with ice skating, and it’s very exciting.
“My dream. I want to inspire. It sounds so cheesy, but honestly, I think with acting it’s amazing how you can jump into any different role and any different character, and just empathise with their lives and their struggles.
“So eventually, I do want to work up to a standard where I can take on very difficult and inspiring characters that will hopefully help a generation as well.”

Meanwhile, back on the ice, Vanessa has given her support to new welfare measures introduced on Dancing On Ice.
This includes a new 24-hotline for the ITV show – which she claimed was “very necessary” in the wake of investigations into misconduct at fellow reality TV series Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC.
She spoke out while helping to launch Virgin Atlantic Holidays' festive ice rink at Somerset House.
Vanessa told us: "We were all made aware, all the girls were made aware and the celebrities, that there’s a helpline that we can call at any time of the day, every single day.
"So we are very well looked after at ITV.
"It is comforting to know and I’m putting myself out there – I think it’s very necessary."
It comes after The Sun revealed officials on the Sunday night ITV hit had sent its 12 celebrities a six-page letter telling them they can speak out "without fear of abuse" using the special hotline.
