Amid the hard-hitting storyline, Harry has now spoken out to reveal he has “daily struggles” with his own mental health.

The star discusses his difficulties online as he responded to a slew of fan questions following the tragic week on the soap.

One fan asked Harry if it was “ok to not be ok”, on the platform.

In response, Harry opened up to confess: “Yes, I struggle on the daily with my mental health.”

He then issued an urgent plea to his followers to be open about their own mental health problems as he shared the importance of talking to someone about struggles.

Harry said: “Reach out to someone, whether it be family, friends or professionals.

“There's always someone who will listen.”

His telling words come amid the hard-hitting plot which exposed the horror realities of knife crime across the country and the impact it can have on many families.

The hard to watch scenes saw Harry’s character Logan and his brother Matty stab Mason during a scuffle amid an ongoing row between the brothers.

Matty and Logan had a vendetta against Mason after working out he could have given evidence to the police that placed them at the scene of the murder of Lisa Swain’s deceased wife.

The pair had picked on Mason for months and made his life a misery before ultimately dealing the final blow.

His death meant an exit for Luca Toolan after just 18 months in the role.

Speaking after his final scenes had aired, the star said: “I was sad that Mason was going to die and that means I would be leaving, but equally I was really excited and honoured to be part of this storyline because it's an incredibly important issue that needs to be tackled.

“I feel so privileged to have had this opportunity to start my professional career at Coronation Street and what a great time I've had.”
