A Florida woman is facing criminal charges after being accused of engaging in sexual activity with a Chihuahua and posting a video of it on social media.

On Friday, March 21, Logan Guminski, 27, of Ocala, was arrested and charged with sexual activity involving an animal and filming sexual activity involving an animal.

She was booked into the Marion County Jail and released after she posted a $10,000 bond.

Authorities learned of the alleged crime on Jan. 28, when Major Crimes Detective Jordyn Batts received an anonymous tip that Guminski had posted a video to Instagram depicting sexual activity with a dog, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

Through her investigation, Batts located several photos and videos of Guminski with the abused animal, the MCSO alleges.

"She also gathered additional information, which confirmed that Guminski was the person depicted in the video," the statement claims.

On March 21, Batts and Detective Annemarie Larocque spoke to Guminski, who allegedly said during the interview that she is a "content creator" who generates sexually explicit photos and videos to sell on the internet, according to the statement.

She also allegedly admitted to creating and sharing the video with another social media user, who requested it and paid $500 for it, the statement claims.

"Guminski additionally stated that she had been involved in sexual activity with another dog, and the videos of both incidents were still stored on her cell phone," according to the statement.

"Unfortunately this isn't my first case of this nature," Batts told 13 News. "It's always shocking, it'll never not be shocking especially when you have to watch the video but I have seen it before so it's not out of the ordinary unfortunately."

Online court records do not indicate that Guminski has retained an attorney who can speak on her behalf.
