Coldplay's still got it!

The British rock band, fronted by Chris Martin, performed an intimate SiriusXM concert in Brooklyn at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Monday, Oct. 7. The gathering was in celebration of Coldplay's 10th studio album, Moon Music, which dropped on Friday, Oct. 4.

Kicking off the evening, Martin opened the show solo by singing their 10th album's titular track. As bandmates Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion joined him onstage, the group performed "feelslikeimfallinginlove," followed by familiar favorites like "Yellow," "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face," "Viva La Vida" and "A Sky Full of Stars."

Coldplay was also joined onstage by Ayra Starr, who appeared to perform her track with the band, "Good Feelings," and Elyanna and Tini, who lent their voices to "We Pray."

The quartet even performed the beloved yet rarely played fan-favorite track "Coloratura," with Martin noting how "this song is not for everybody, but from us to our super fans who really keep us going and who we love so much."

Martin, 47, also took a moment during the show to thank fans for supporting the band over the years.

"Thank you all for being here," he said. "I know some of you worked with Sirius. I know some of you helped pay for Sirius, but I know most of you just listened to Sirius and we're so grateful to see you. We're so grateful to see you."

Continuing, the father of two joked about how Coldplay is "in America right now doing the promo rounds, which when you are an older band is, I know it frustrates a lot of people because we are still doing new songs."

"I know that's annoying for some of you. But once upon a time, even that song 'Viva La Vida' was new and everyone in the room was like, 'What the f--- is this? They got s--- already,'" he said. "And so, it is amazing that every new song we have lots of people say is terrible. And then 10 years later, it's a worldwide super classic smash. That's happened maybe three times. So, the other 76 songs were just terrible."

Coldplay was originally formed in London in 1997 with singer and pianist Martin guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer/percussionist Will Champion after meeting at University College London. Following the release of their debut album, Parachutes, in 2000, which featured their breakthrough hit "Yellow," the band has gone on to find major global success.

The quartet now counts "Viva La Vida," "Fix You," "Clocks" and "A Sky Full of Stars" among their many chart-topping hits. Further, the band got to perform at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in 2016, gathering major names like Beyoncé and Bruno Mars to join them on the field.

After more than two decades of success, Martin has recently shared that Coldplay's future of making true albums together is winding down.

"We are only going to do 12 proper albums, and that's real," Martin said in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, noting that "less is more. And for some of our critics, even less would be even more."

"It's really important that we have that limit," he continued, noting that the Harry Potter series contains seven books. "There's only 12 and a half Beatles albums. There's about the same Bob Marley, so all of our heroes. and also having that limit means that the quality control is so high right now, and for a song to make it, it's almost impossible, which is great."

Martin added that rather than "coasting," the band is "trying to improve."
