Flower released her festive album 'Chloe Hearts Christmas' in December 2023
Chloe Flower is ready to deck the halls.
The pianist is exclusively releasing her cover of "Deck the Halls" with PEOPLE, which drops on Thursday, Dec. 19 just in time for the holidays. The popsical musician — who focuses on pop-meets-classical music — gives the classic tune a jazzy and playful twist.
Flower, 39, performed the upbeat song with the Royal Philharmonic and the English National Orchestra Choir at Abbey Road. It's hard not to get into the holiday spirit listening to Flower's reimagining.

"'Deck The Halls' is one of my favorite songs, and I wanted to create a version that reminded me of one of my favorite composers, Beethoven," Flowers tells PEOPLE of her spin on the traditional Christmas carol.
"I wanted it to be epic, but also beautiful. It was important for me to create a version that was classical, but also accessible. That is what 'Popsical' is. Plus, getting to record this at Abbey Road Studios with the amazing Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was the cherry on top!"

As for what's coming up, Flowers says she's looking forward to many things in 2025. "2024 was a year of huge personal growth for me, and soon I'll be releasing a new album with amazing featured guests."
"There's even more news that I can't wait to share, which everyone will be able to watch unfold," she continues. "I've been documenting my journey over the past few months, not just as a composer and artist, but also as a woman in the music industry and an entrepreneur, so stay tuned!"

Flower previously told PEOPLE in December 2023 about what inspired her to make her album, Chloe Hearts Christmas, which focuses on her favorite holiday. "Musically, as an instrumentalist — I don't have lyrics — so there's always a little bit of an embedded challenge," she explained at the time. "And with Christmas, everybody knows the music already."
"It was the perfect way for me to navigate between classical traditions, but also innovation and creating something new. And often if I'm writing my own music or writing something completely new, it can be more challenging because people don't know the tune.
"That's why Christmas covers are so great. Hopefully when you listen to my album, [it] sounds like Chloe because they already have a first step of already knowing the melody."
