Carey Mulligan may need to set up a movie night with husband Marcus Mumford.

The British actress, 39, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, March 26 to discuss her latest movie, The Ballad of Wallis Island, that debuts the same day as her singer spouse's latest album Rushmere. The album marks the fifth project for Mumford's British folk rock band Mumford & Sons.

While sharing that she's listened to all of his demos and musical work, Mulligan revealed that Mumford, 38, has not seen all of her movies.

"He's seen some of them," Mulligan said when Kimmel asked if her husband has seen and ranked her projects, adding that she's "okay" with the "Grace" singer not having gone through her entire filmography.

Mumford appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the night before Mulligan's Kimmel appearance, to which the actress jokingly noted he didn't promote her upcoming comedy but she was happy to tease his album with Kimmel.

"He was on the sofa for 10 minutes!" Mulligan pointed out, adding that before she came on the late night show, Mumford reminded her how to pronounce the title of his latest album.

Mulligan also revealed how when she listens to her husband's tracks, "I get demoitis where I hear the demo and I become obsessed with the demo and then he starts changing things and I'm not happy."

For instance, Mulligan said when listening to "Cannibal," the first song on Mumford's 2022 debut solo album (Self-Titled), she wasn't a fan of the song's progression going from "gentle, gentle" to getting louder.

"He's a little bit more cautious now about playing music," Mulligan said.

Jokes aside, the actress said she'll be happy to go on tour for Mumford & Son's latest album, but "since having children," she will most likely will be sleeping on the tour bus.
