Annaleigh Ashford welcomes her second baby with husband Joe Tapper.Annaleigh Ashford is officially a mom of two!
The Sweeney Todd star, 39, and husband Joe Tapper welcomed their second baby together, daughter Lucy Jean Tapper, on Tuesday, Oct. 8, a rep for the couple exclusively confirms to PEOPLE.
"We are so happy to announce that our newest member of the family has made her entrance and Jack is so happy to be a big brother," the couple tells PEOPLE in a statement. "Lucy Jean Tapper. 10/8/24 8 lbs., 4 oz."
The pair also shared a few photos with their baby girl, including a side-by-side photo of Ashford from when she was still pregnant and a photo of her carrying daughter Lucy.

Ashford, who is set to return to Broadway in 2025 in All In: Comedy About Love By Simon Rich at the Hudson Theatre, also shared a photo of her son Jack holding his baby sister and a close-up of her little girl.
The couple announced they were expecting their second baby in August with a post on Instagram.
"That's not a basketball. It's a baby in there! Joining the party this fall!" wrote Ashford, showing off her baby bump in three photos, posing with Tapper and their son Jack. In the last photo, the couple looked aghast with their jaws wide open.

Annaleigh Ashford's son with his baby sister.Earlier this year, the two teamed up for an off-Broadway revival of The White Chip. Tapper played the lead, while Ashford worked as a producer.
Ashford and Tapper welcomed their first baby in 2016. "There are no words to describe our joy when we first met our Jack," they told PEOPLE at the time.
The two tied the knot in 2013 on a ranch in Colorado. After getting married, Ashford toldThe New York Times, "I always knew I wasn't going to waste my time with someone who wasn't amazing. What's the point?"
