The 25-year-old PlanBri Uncut podcaster joked about her fake boyfriend in a TikTok posted by Tarte Cosmetics during their TrippinWithTarte influencer event on Jan. 12. In the video, LaPaglia joked that she "brought her fake boyfriend" with her and that she was looking forward to "maybe making him my real boyfriend" on the trip.

LaPaglia also showed off her fake boyfriend on the trip in another TikTok posted to her page on Jan. 13. In the video, she responded to a fan who wrote "while everyone brought their best friend, mom, sister etc. to the Trippin with Tarte thing, & Brianna Chickenfry brings some random ahh man she met last month" and briefly showed him lounging next to her.
But despite the ongoing speculation, the internet personality addressed the rumors of a new romance and clarified her relationship status in another TikTok posted Jan. 1.
"I don't have a boyfriend," LaPaglia confirmed in the video. "Everyone thinks I have a boyfriend, probably from my Instagram Stories this weekend, but I don't have a boyfriend. Maybe one day, but not this day or not tomorrow."

The rumors of LaPaglia's new relationship come after her tumultuous public breakup with Zach Bryan in October 2024. She opened up about being blindsided when the 28-year-old country singer announced the end of their relationship on Instagram.
She then shared details about their relationship and the breakup on the BFF's Podcast on Nov. 7, when she accused her ex-boyfriend of emotional abuse while they were together.

[They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing your little f--- songs on stage like you're a good dude."
Bryan recently took to his Instagram Stories on Jan. 9 to push back against the ongoing "hatred" online and the internet trolls coming after his friends online.
"Also all you f----- couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you're assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science," he wrote in the story post and clarified that he doesn't have a girlfriend at the moment.
"No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me," he continued. "I can take all the hatred because I'm not a child. But do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me."
