Below Deck Med viewers will likely recall that Season 8 was something of a disaster. Many of those who tuned in till the end were only doing so because they felt they had to. The Season 8 drama was more frustrating than it was entertaining. So, it didn't come as a huge shock when the Season 9 trailer featured a major shake-up in the cast.
