Ariana Grande Makes Generous Christmas Donation to Children at Manchester Hospitals 7 Years After Tragedy

The singer has remained connected to the city following the May 2017 suicide bombing after one of her concerts
Ariana Grande is giving back this holiday season.
The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity shared on Instagram on Monday, Dec. 23 that the Wickedstar made a generous donation to children across Manchester's hospital netowork.
"Thank you @arianagrande! ✨✨✨," the charity wrote online. "We are so grateful to Ariana for thinking of our young patients this Christmas."
"The gifts she has donated are being distributed to babies, children and teenagers across Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. @mftnhs."
The Instagram post featured pictures of patients receiving brightly wrapped gifts and adults handing them out. Grande, 31, previously donated gifts to the hospital system in 2022.
The "thank u, next" singer has remained connected to Manchester since the May 2017 suicide bombing that occurred after one of her concerts during her Dangerous Woman Tour. The tragedy killed 22 people and injured hundreds of others, per CNN.

After the bombing, Grande held a benefit concert for the English city the following month to raise money for the victims and their families. She has honored those affected by the terrorist attack sincein many different ways.
Embracing the holiday spirit in many ways, Grande also released a live performance her Christmas pop hit "Santa Tell Me" on Dec. 23 as part of a series promoting her Eternal Sunshine album.
"Celebrating ten years of Santa Tell Me!" Grande wrote on her Instagram Stories with the clip, which dropped on YouTube. "Thank you so much for all the love you have shown this record over the past decade. Wishing you all a happy happy holiday!"
The same day, the song also reached the Billboard Hot 100's top 10 at No. 9 for the first time since it was released in November 2014.
Grande doesn't perform the festive hit live often. When the song was first released, she sang it at multiple 2014 events, including Z100's Jingle Ball and Disney Parks' Frozen Christmas Celebration.
