Adams is nominated for her performance in 'Nightbitch'
Amy Adams was given special approval for her Golden Globes look!
The actress, 50, shared on the Variety and Entertainment Tonight red carpet pre-show for the 82nd Golden Globes that her 14-year-old daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, gave her a "thumbs up" for her dazzling event look.
Adams, nominated for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy for her performance in Nightbitch, wore a maroon, off-the-shoulder dress with a V-neckline.
She paired the look with spiked dangly earrings and a matching necklace.
When asked about her daughter's thoughts on her outfit, Adams said, "She gave me the thumbs up on the way out. So I feel good."
She then commented on her movie, an adaptation of Rachel Yoder's 2021 novel of the same name, in which her character finds herself adopting canine instincts as she navigates early motherhood.
"I've had such great feedback from moms," Adams said on the carpet, "How they really see themselves in it. So it's great to hear that."

Adams shares Aviana with husband Darren Le Gallo, both of whom appeared at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival to support her at the movie's premiere.
The Disenchanted star spoke with PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about watching the movie with her daughter at the event. "Parts of it I'm excited to share with her, being that it's her mom I'm gonna be a little bit more protective of certain aspects of the filmmaking," she said.
"I think what I want her to know about my experience of motherhood is how much she's enriched my life and made me the woman that I am today," the six-time Oscar nominee continued. "I tell her that all the time, but it's true and I'm glad that she's here tonight to celebrate with me."
