Stassi Schroeder's Best Halloween Costumes

Stassi Schroeder of Vanderpump Rules fame was a lot of things. The Bravo star could be seen as a snob and sometimes even a princess. But she was primarily a confident woman who knew exactly what she wanted out of life (which wasn't Jax Taylor). But perhaps the best thing about Stassi was her love of everything Halloween and … murder. The reality TV star loves the macabre so much that her husband even proposed to her at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in 2019. To say that Stassi loves Halloween, crime, and death is a bit of an understatement, but which are her best costumes? 

Only Stassi Schroeder would go as herself

In 2016, Vanderpump Rules Season 5 was in full swing. Stassi was busy rallying the troops against James Kennedy and Lala Kent for fat-shaming bride-to-be Katie Maloney. She also worked overtime on her fights with Scheana Shay. But the season’s biggest stressor was when Stassi took a trip to Montauk to visit her Summer House friends. Instead of being welcomed with open arms by the men of the house, she was criticized for her look-alike Steve Jobs turtleneck swimsuit.

It's no wonder the blonde decided to dress up for Halloween. Stassi took to her Instagram to share, “I went to a Halloween party as myself: tired and single.” Despite all the drama, Stassi never lost the ability to laugh at herself and ended up pulling off the best costume.

In 2023, Stassi decided to include her entire family in her love of everything Halloween. Along with her husband, Beau Clark, and two children, Hartford and Messer, the group embraced Edgar Allan Poe. The mystery writer is known for his whimsical and poetic writing, but Stassi brought his creations to life with their costumes. Stassi cheekily posted that it was just "Edgar Allan Beau and his pack of ravens." Beau looked like he had seen better days as he was white as a ghost.

Hartford seemed to love dressing in all black like mummy (excuse the pun). Stassi wore a stunning black dress, complete with the perfect smokey eye. Even baby Messer got into the spirit of things as he sported a black onesie with feathers. I dare say Poe himself would be proud. To quote the writer, "And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor. Shall be lifted—nevermore!"

Stassi Schroeder gave fans a fear of clowns 

In 2018, Stassi struck fear into the hearts of Vanderpump Rules viewers. She and her then-boyfriend, Beau, decided to dress up as clowns. Stassi went a step further since she couldn't be any old clown. The author embraced Pennywise, the evil alien clown from IT. She captioned her photo "Netflix and Kill,” as she poked fun at her theme. As Beau sat on the couch, Stassi almost blended in entirely with the sofa. Her dog sat on her chest as she let her long red wig cover the rest of her body. Indeed, it was a frightening sight. 

It didn't help that she had surrounded herself with tiny, scary clowns to add to the ambiance. Followers were unsure if she went out trick or treating with the rest of the SUR group. But it seemed like the couple were thrilled to sit at home and scare whatever trick-or-treater approached their door for candy. 

Stassi Schroder dresses up her baby bump

Pandemic or not, The Next Level Basic author was not going to miss a Halloween. In 2020, a very pregnant Stassi creeped out followers when she posed for a planned photo in their baby girl's nursery. The former SUR server dressed up as a zombie. Her bump was also included as she used makeup and props to look like a swarm from The Walking Dead had attacked her. A pretend baby was peeking out of her belly where a chunk had been bitten off. Beau also didn't look too good, as he had an internal organ falling out of his wound. 

While the gory-looking fetus belly might have been a step too far for most, Stassi loved her costume. Along with the wound, Stassi wore black sweatpants and a white button-down that she had tied up underneath her chest. She also made sure to wear her house slippers to avoid making a mess with all the blood. 

Stassi Schroeder goes back in time

For Stassi's first Halloween as a mother, she didn't want to leave out her new baby girl. She channeled her inner prairie mother and had her entire family pose for a black-and-white western photo. Stassi captioned the Instagram post by writing, "A portrait of the ghosts that haunt this house. Phineas Clark, his loving wife, Mildred & their daughter, Adelaide, departed this life on the 31st of October, 1895. Their causes of death are unknown." Stassi wore a long black skirt with a white ruffle shirt. In Hartford's Halloween debut, she wore an untouched white baptism gown. Beau looked like a proud, however dead father with a dashing black top hat.
