Southern Hospitality Stars React to Relationship Being Outed on WWHL

After years of being in the friend zone, Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese are finally a couple. The Southern Hospitality stars tried to keep their romance under wraps. They intentionally kept their relationship off of social media, but the couple says that Bravo’s other Joe Bradley accidentally spilled the beans about their romance during a taping of Watch What Happens Live. Whoops!
Southern Hospitality: blame it on the other Joe Bradley
Joe and Maddi opened up about their relationship during an interview with Decider. During their conversation, they recalled how Joe from Below Deck Mediterranean appeared on an episode of WWHL last summer.
During the episode, Joe told Andy Cohen how he met the Southern Hospitality star when “his girlfriend’ was DJing an event in Miami. Although he didn’t name Maddi, it didn’t take long for fans to put two and two together.
“I was like, ‘Dang it,'” Southern Hospitality’s Joe recalled. “We've done such a great job of not posting. We do care about the show and the viewers.”
Maddi added, "Joe Bradleys, man. They don't got their sh-t together.”
According to the Southern Hospitality couple, they were trying to keep their romance under wraps so they could have time to let it “develop.” Maddi knew that exposing their relationship in Season 3 would cause their situation to become “chaotic.” Meanwhile, Joe was worried that she was simply treating him as a rebound after her split from Trevor Stokes.
“My bigger concern was not letting it go too fast because I wanted her to be 100% certain,” Joe explained.
“I didn't want this to be some rebound fling because it was comfortable. I wanted this to be forever. That's the way I've always looked at Maddi,” he continued. “If I could wait three and a half years, I could wait a few more months to make sure that she knows she's ready.”
