This year marks the first holiday season that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have spent together. To mark the occasion, the newly engaged couple celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with some of their friends. The duo attended the annual party at Benj Pasek’s, which had Jake Cohen, Erin Lichy, Judy Gold, Debra Messing, Alex Edelman, and Adam Kantor in attendance as well. Cohen shared some photos from the Festival of Lights party on Thursday. He captioned the Instagram post, “Some lonely Jews on Christmas getting lit.”
Gomez and Blanco looked cozy at the get-together, posing alongside a couple of their friends for photos. The record producer also took to his Instagram Stories to share the duo cuddling on the couch. While Blanco donned a cream-colored sweater with a cute stuffed animal in the pocket, Gomez rocked gray sweats with snowflakes throughout. She accessorized the look with a white beanie that perfectly complemented the winter-themed set she wore.
The couple got engaged on December 11, with Benny Blanco proposing to Selena Gomez with a marquis diamond ring. The good news arrives almost a year after the singer took to Instagram last year to confirm their relationship status. Moreover, the engagement comes just weeks after Gomez revealed to Stephen Colbert that she wasn’t sure where the relationship was headed. However, she did clarify that she was “having a great time” with her now-fiancé.
