The last time we saw the Shahs of Sunset crew all together was way back in 2021. Life was different then, and the beloved show randomly got put on pause after nine seasons. But, is it finally time to dive back into their world? Reza Farahancertainly thinks so.

Now, this might be a case of wishful thinking, but according to Reza, Shahs of Sunset is gearing up for a reboot. Although it’s still early in the works, he claimed that he and some of the original cast are in talks of making a return. Are you ready for it?

Shahs of Sunset 2.0

Reza dropped the news about a potential Shahs reboot during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. The show, which has just been expanded to a two-hour format, is a hotbed for Bravolebrities to spill tea. This time, Reza explained how his old show was potentially in the process of getting pulled out of the Bravo vault.

“I mean, allegedly there are things going on behind the scenes. Hopefully, we’ll know something after the first of the year,” Reza confessed.

Reza went on to say that this potential Shahs reboot would be a mix of new and old cast members, similar to how Peacock handled the reboot of The Real Housewives of Miami. He said the potential cast would include him, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, and Golnessa “GG” Gharachedaghi. He told listeners to check his Instagram for a sneak peek at the potential newbies.

“So if you go on my Instagram, what I will say is you can see pictures of myself, Golnesa, and MJ with a group of Persians you may not have known before, that are much younger and way more attractive than the previous cast,” Reza explained.

It sounded like Jeff was practically foaming at the mouth over this information, so he pressed Reza for more details. He asked, “So then they would, if this show were to, I guess come to fruition, do you see it as like there’s half OGs and half new?

Reza replied, “Yes. Definitely.”

According to Reza, he and this new group of Persians don’t yet have a contract for this show. It’s not real until there’s a contract. However, they’ve shot some footage and are waiting to hear back from the network on the next steps. We’ll see how this shakes out.

Shahs of Sunset is streaming on Peacock.
