Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey ended the franchise as fans knew it. Feuds among the cast led to some ladies refusing to interact with each other. Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral were involved in a physical altercation. Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice was busy coming after Margaret Josephs and ignoring Melissa Gorga. Finally, Andy Cohen made it clear the RHONJ cast was going to be refreshed. So, Jennifer apparently took the opportunity to confirm her Season 15 return. Or did she?
Jennifer Aydin explains that she didn’t give “a confirmation”
As you may recall, Jennifer reportedly confirmed her return during an Instagram Live. This was interesting because it was news to Andy. "What? Jennifer Aydin confirmed that she's returning?" Andy asked during his radio show, SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live. "No, we've made no decisions on The Real Housewives." He added, "I wish her well. Yeah. I think wait until Bravo or I say something.”
What did Jennifer Aydin tell Andy Cohen via text?
In an effort to set the embarrassing record straight, Jennifer was a guest on Vicki Gunvalson’s podcast, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast. So, why did Jennifer tell the internet that she was set to return to RHONJ? "Somebody was just very rude and said something like, you know, 'Can't wait until you're not back on the show,” Jennifer said. “And I just respond, like, 'Sorry to break it to you, but I am coming back. Sorry.’" According to Jennifer, her remark "wasn't really a confirmation" that she was returning. Really? It sure sounds like one.
Plus, the RHONJ star was "mortified" when Andy discussed her comments on his radio show. So, Jennifer finally set the record straight. "So I texted Andy. I said 'First of all Andy, I just really want to clarify.' I told him the situation,” Jennifer explained. She continued, ‘'I did not confirm but I did respond, like, sorry to break it to you, I am coming back. Yes, as a snarky comeback. And until you guys tell me something otherwise, I am rolling with the vibe that I am still a Housewife,'” she added. “‘Hence, I'm coming back.'”
Jennifer continued, “And he said, 'I knew it had to be some kind of explanation. Thanks for clarifying.’" She also claimed that Andy confirmed that "no decisions have been made" about the cast of RHONJ yet. And Jennifer added that Andy said, "’Tell people we've spoken – no decisions have been made.’"
Of course, both Jennifer and Teresa allegedly leaked RHONJ storylines to blogs. And Andy doesn’t like leakers. Plus, Jennifer body-shaming Danielle’s husband, Nate Cabral, was another strike against her this season. It nearly led to another physical altercation with Danielle.
Well, if Jennifer doesn’t return for Season 15 of RHONJ, she can always spend her days counting her bathrooms and luxury rides.
