Jesse Solomon's 'Poorly Timed Comment' After Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover's Split

Summer House sophomore Jesse Solomon may occasionally stick his foot in his mouth, but he always looks good doing it.
On December 29, Jesse posted a TikTok of himself performing “Time to Say Goodbye” … to his dog. The investor relations professional has a background in vocal jazz performance, so his singing is stunning. He captioned the video, "Andrea Bocelli who? #newyear #newyear2025 #squidgame."
The next day, his Summer Housemate Paige DeSorbo responded on the post: "All of the sudden everyone's Italian.” Jesse fired back, joking, “Ok fine i'll sing it at your wedding." Unfortunately, he was unaware that Paige and Southern Charm OG Craig Conover had just announced their split.
What would Jesse Solomon do now?
After learning of the breakup, Jesse returned to his post and added, "Well this was a poorly timed comment."
Another TikTok user commented, “You'll sing it at yours and Paige's wedding," a clever nod to Jesse’s constant flirting with Paige as a Summer House newbie.
On Monday’s episode of her and Hannah Berner’s Giggly Squad podcast, Paige shared that her three-year relationship was over. "Craig and I have decided to no longer be together," she said sadly. She added that the breakup was "weird," "very sad" and "awkward" to navigate so publicly.
"I love him, [and] I think he loves me,” she shared. “I think we will remain friends … No one did anything. It wasn't a bad thing.”
Paige claims they’re both being “really mature”
She credited the split to both of them “just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn't want … I think that's extremely powerful to be able to voice how you're feeling in real-time and what you want for your future."
Even though she didn’t give a specific reason for the breakup, she talked about how “transformative" the last few years have been. She claims that she and Craig grew and changed “a lot.”
Though she has “so much love and respect for Craig,” calling him "one of the best people" she's ever met, the fashion influencer feels their breakup was "the right decision” for them both.
Viewers of both shows have watched the former couple struggle with taking the next step in their relationship. Craig wants marriage and children, but Paige has been dragging her feet.
Craig has a home and a business, Sewing Down South, based in Charleston, South Carolina. But Paige is a native New Yorker and didn’t want to leave her NYC life or her family. The writing’s been on the wall for a long time.
