Jennifer Tilly Hints She Will Become Full-Time RHOBH Castmate

Is there a promotion in store for Jennifer Tilly? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star just teased that she’s interested in evolving her role on the show. She has main character energy, so the “friend of” role isn’t cutting out.

Jennifer Tilly might go full-time to get to know RHOBH cast better

Between the marital issues, family traumas, and broken friendships, Season 14 of RHOBH has been a bit of a mess. However, we can all agree that Jennifer has been a bright spot. She’s got the jokes. She’s got the fashion. Plus, she has a real-life connection to Sutton Stracke. Now, all she needs is a diamond.

During a recent interview with The Cut, Jennifer was asked if she’d ever consider becoming a Real Housewife. With confidence, she said that might be the best route for her moving forward.

Jennifer explained, “I was thinking that that might be the way to go. In computer games, my boyfriend tells me there's something called an NPC, which is a ‘non-playing character.’ You're sort of an NPC as a friend of.”

“Full-time would be the way to go if you want to make any kind of impact at all. And I really want to get to know the other girls better,” the actress and pro poker player continued.

Of course, we know that a full-time spot just opened up on the cast. Garcelle Beauvais announced her exit from RHOBH after five seasons. That had freed up some of the budget, so they might as well give it to Jennifer. After all, we know that Sutton needs as many friends as she can get.

“When they hired me, one of the producers said, ‘You know, we need Sutton to have more allies,'” Jennifer revealed. “They wanted me to come in so that Sutton had more people whom she could engage with in a positive way.”

At the time, Jennifer said she “kind of got to pick” what type of role she would have on RHOBH. She chose “friend of” because she thought it would be “less stressful.” Now, it sounds like the experience has her itching for more action.

“The only one-on-one scenes I had were with Sutton,” Jennifer recalled. “And because I'm the friend of, she's talking about things that happened to her and I'm being Oprah and nodding along and saying ‘Oh really?,’ which is really not my job!'”

She added, “Being an actress, I'm used to being the center of attention!”
