Jessica Simpson dished the secret to improving her singing voice, and it is snake sperm. Weeks after her first stage performance in 15 years, she shared an Instagram video of her drinking a Chinese herbal drink with “snake sperm” as one of its major ingredients.

Simpson announced in the clip that showed her consuming the said drink, “They’re like, ‘What are you drinking? Like it’s this Chinese herb thing.'” She then claimed she was in the dark about this and only followed her vocal coach’s instructions before revealing that it improved her vocals.

The singer-actor claimed they ran a quick Google search about the ingredients when they learned about snake sperm in the herbal drink that her coach recommended for better vocals. “They Googled the ingredients and… snake sperm,” she said before someone questioned her if it was “like tea.” To this, the artist replied that it was “like a honey” and continued, “So, if you want a good vocal, you gotta drink snake sperm.” In the video, she appeared to be explaining her bizarre discovery to a couple of musicians in the studio.

Jessica Simpson did not reveal the product’s name throughout the video despite naming the snake sperm component. Besides, commenters seemingly agreed with her statement about it improving one’s vocals. One user wrote how Simpson “needs her own show again – side note: I believe it” with a snake emoji, while another asked for the drink’s name. Several others simply expressed their love and affection, praising her and dropping positive remarks.
