We may say we watch Big Brother for the social strategy but in reality, it’s all about the drama. In the last 26 seasons, there have been some pretty epic BB disagreements, from disputes about replacement nominees to arguments over who cleans the house the most.

While there have been countless fights, only a few stand out as iconic TV moments.

Here are the 5 best Big Brother fights of all-time …

Rachel Reilly vs. Ragan Fox – Big Brother 12

Ragan Fox was relieved when Rachel Reilly was evicted from the house and sent to the jury. Unfortunately for him, she returned to the house as part of the “Pandora’s Box” twist. The twist only lasted 24 hours, but her brief re-entry was enough to push Ragan to the edge.

When she entered the house, she called out Ragan directly and told him he had to be nice to her because she was on the jury. He did not appreciate the comment. He responded by saying he would be “honored” if she didn’t cast a vote for him in the final two. Ouch.

The fight escalated from there with both Rachel and Ragan hurling a number of insults at each other. Ragan told Rachel she had no friends, insulted her job as a waitress, and called her “an absolute monster.” Rachel matched his energy, calling him a “big b*tch” who can’t keep a boyfriend.

The Season 12 showdown between Rachel and Ragan will always be iconic. The insults were biting and plentiful. It was perfect reality television.

Keesha Smith’s birthday – Big Brother 10

Keesha’s birthday may be the most famous Big Brother fight of all time. The dispute began when houseguest Jessie Godderz overheard Keesha Smith and Libra Thompson talking negatively about April Lewis. Jessie, eager to start drama, shared this info with April. She confronted the girls and it didn’t go so well. Keesha and Libra got defensive, which quickly turned to anger. Within minutes, pretty much the whole house was involved in the fight. Jerry MacDonald intervened and told Libra to shut up, which prompted Renny Martyn to tell Jerry not to talk to people like that. Before long, the petty disagreement had evolved into a major blowup. After a lot of screaming, the house finally calmed down enough to deliver a melancholy “Happy Birthday” tribute to Keesha. It was depressing but so funny.

Brett Robinson vs. Angela ‘Rockstar’ – Big Brother 20

In BB20, Brett Robinson lied about Rockstar flipping a vote to cause chaos in the house. Naturally, Rockstar was upset by the accusation and confronted him about his lies. For some reason, she fixated on Brett’s audacity to go after her on her daughter’s birthday. The comment amused fans, who knew Brett didn’t care at all that it was her daughter’s special day.

He doubled down on the lie, asking Rockstar why she couldn’t own her move, which only made her more angry.

“Disgusting, disgusting,” she told him. “I can’t believe on my daughter’s birthday that you would drag my name through the mud like this.”

She didn’t stop there. To “prove her innocence,” she started banging pots and pans and walking around the house “celebrating” that Brett was still in the house. It was an interesting strategy, to say the least. The move didn’t convince the houseguests of her innocence but rather made them question her sanity.

Christie Murphy vs. Nick Maccarone

Christie Murphy and Nick Maccaron’s Big Brother 21 fight on Taco Tuesday will always have a special place in my heart. The drama began when Nick heard word that Christie was putting a target on his back. He confronted her about the situation, which led to an incredible scene.

Nick wanted to get even, so he tried to blow up Christie’s game. He told the house her entire strategy and who she was planning on targeting. When she tried to deny the master plan Nick put forth, he responded by telling her to, “Manifest the truth, bro.” Christie loved to say she manifested her success in the BB house, so it was a perfect way for him to throw her words back in her face.

Angela Murray vs. Matt ‘Crazy Eyes’ Hardeman

Big Brother 26 had a chaotic first week thanks to our first HOH, the always unpredictable, Angela Murray. The 51-year-old let her paranoia get the best of her and used her time in power to target 25-year-old, Matt Hardeman. She did this by delivering a grand speech to the whole house, warning them that he was a verbally abusive, crazy-eyed boy.

“I am so flattered that I am a threat to you,” she said. “I would love for the houseguests to know how Crazy Eyes very aggressively threatened me verbally in my room on our one-on-one. Then he tells me, you put me up, somebody will take me down if not myself. Then when I am down, you better believe you’re going up on the block.”

The blow-up was beyond iconic but also so confusing. Matt did not verbally assault her in her room. He may have been a bit cocky. He did say he could get off the block if she put him up. But Angela took it to a whole new level. It was one of the greatest Big Brother scenes I’ve seen in years and I’m grateful to Angela for giving us that moment.

BB21 was a rough season to watch but this scene made it all worth it to me.
